WallFlow - Live Wallpapers · Effective date: September 10, 2026 · Applies to app version 1.2.1 and later

WallFlow ("WallFlow", "we" or "us"), operated by Shenzhen Sheng'andong Technology Co., Ltd, recognizes the importance of the privacy, security and data protection of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what information the WallFlow application collects, how we use and protect it, when service providers process it, and the choices you have.

In short: WallFlow does not require an account. The free experience is supported by ads served by Google AdMob; subscribing to WallFlow Premium through Google Play removes ads. The optional Chat Background feature uses separately granted Accessibility access only to detect which supported chat app is in the foreground—nothing from your screen is read, stored or uploaded. Our own usage statistics are first-party, use a locally generated random identifier and can be turned off in Settings. Google usage and crash reporting and Meta advertising measurement run automatically in builds that include these services. There are no separate in-app switches for these services.

1. What Data We Collect

Information you provide. WallFlow does not offer account registration and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or social-network profiles. If you contact us for support by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.

First-party usage statistics. To understand how the app is used and improve WallFlow, the app records a limited set of pseudonymous usage events:

  • app launches, app version, onboarding choices and pages viewed inside the app;
  • in-app search events and result selections;
  • wallpaper views, previews, favorites, downloads and wallpaper-application results;
  • Chat Background feature, permission and service-health events;
  • advertising delivery events such as requests, fills, impressions, clicks and estimated revenue; and
  • subscription-funnel events such as upgrade-screen views and purchase status, without payment-card details.

These events are associated with a randomly generated, resettable installation identifier created locally on your device. Our first-party statistics do not use your advertising ID, IMEI, MAC address, phone number or account identity. The events do not include message content, contacts, user photos or files, or precise location.

Usage statistics are enabled by default. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Usage statistics. Turning them off stops new usage events from being recorded and clears events waiting to be sent from the device.

Google usage and diagnostics. In builds that include these services, Google Analytics for Firebase measures app use and Firebase Crashlytics helps diagnose faults. Google Analytics receives automatically collected events such as first use, sessions, engagement, app updates and screen activity, together with SDK-generated identifiers and app/device information. Supported SDK integrations may also record purchase or advertising events automatically. We do not manually copy our first-party event history or its identifier into Google Analytics. Analytics advertising ID collection is disabled, and advertising storage, advertising user-data and personalized-advertising consent are denied for this feature. This is separate from Google AdMob's advertising controls.

Crashlytics records diagnostic information such as exception stack traces, app version, device model, operating-system version and SDK-generated identifiers. It can store crash information locally even while uploading is disabled. Our app automatically requests sending pending reports when the app process starts, typically after a crash. Analytics events can appear as context in crash reports. We do not add custom user identifiers, purchase tokens, chat content or unrestricted application logs to these reports. Google receives network connection information, including the IP address, when the SDK contacts its services.

Meta ad attribution. In builds that include this service, Meta App Events receives installation and app-launch signals to measure advertising, along with SDK-generated identifiers, app/device and connection information, and installation or campaign referral information when available. Meta advertising ID collection and automatic event logging are disabled. We do not forward our first-party identifier, historical usage events, wallpaper browsing history, purchase tokens or chat content to Meta.

Data stored only on your device. Your onboarding choices, app preferences, favorites, recent previews, verified wallpaper downloads and local entitlement-history marker are stored in app-private storage on your device. This local data is not uploaded as part of usage statistics. You can erase it via Settings → Delete local data or by uninstalling the app. A wallpaper copy currently in use by Android may remain in app-private storage while it is active.

Advertising for the free experience. WallFlow uses Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. Google may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and network information, and ad-interaction data under the Google Privacy Policy. Where a privacy choice is required, WallFlow uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) and does not request ads until the SDK reports that ads may be requested. Depending on your choices, applicable law and technical availability, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized or limited ads, or no ad. When required by the SDK, you can reopen the consent choices in Settings → Ads privacy options. WallFlow does not link Google's advertising identifier to our first-party installation identifier.

Purchases and subscription status. WallFlow Premium subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your payment-card details. We receive only the purchase token, product or plan identifier, order status and entitlement information needed to grant, restore and manage Premium. When Premium entitlement is active, WallFlow removes ads and stops App-owned ad requests.

Chat Background Accessibility service. If you choose to enable Chat Background, WallFlow requests Accessibility access only to detect whether a supported chat app is in the foreground so the selected background can be shown or hidden. This detection runs on the device. WallFlow does not read, record, store or upload screen content, messages, contacts or notifications through this service. You can pause the feature in Library → Chat Background or revoke it in Android Settings → Accessibility → WallFlow.

Remote configuration. WallFlow uses Firebase Remote Config to retrieve feature flags and advertising-delivery settings. These requests deliver configuration to the app and are not used by WallFlow to build an advertising profile.

Catalog and media requests. When online, WallFlow fetches a versioned public wallpaper catalog and published wallpaper media from our services over encrypted connections. As with most online services, the hosting and content-delivery infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, request time, requested URL and network or device-client information needed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service. We do not use this information for personalized advertising or cross-app tracking.

2. How We Use Data

  • to provide and maintain the app, including delivering the wallpaper catalog and media;
  • to understand aggregate usage and improve features, categories, reliability and performance;
  • to operate the free ad-supported experience, apply advertising frequency rules and provide rewarded unlocks;
  • to grant, restore and manage WallFlow Premium benefits;
  • to secure and troubleshoot our service; and
  • to respond when you contact us for support.

We do not sell personal data. Our first-party usage statistics are not used for personalized advertising and are not shared with advertisers. Where you have consented to personalized ads, that processing is performed by Google AdMob under Google's privacy policy, not by WallFlow's first-party telemetry. The Google and Meta features described in section 1 send their own data to those providers for usage analysis, fault diagnosis or advertising measurement.

3. Purchases

WallFlow offers optional auto-renewing Premium subscriptions. Google Play displays the available plans, local price, currency, taxes and renewal terms and processes all payments. We do not collect or store payment-card information. WallFlow receives only the purchase and entitlement information needed to provide Premium benefits. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

4. How We Disclose or Share Data

We do not sell personal data. Information may be processed or disclosed only in the following limited circumstances:

  • to hosting, content-delivery and other infrastructure providers acting on our behalf and only as needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service;
  • to Google for the purposes described above: Google AdMob for advertising, Google Play Billing for subscriptions, Firebase Remote Config for configuration, and Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for usage analysis and diagnostics;
  • to Meta, in builds that include Meta ad attribution, for the advertising measurement described above, under the Meta privacy policy;
  • to comply with applicable law, a court order or a lawful government request;
  • when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or protect the rights, safety and security of users, WallFlow or others; or
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition or reorganization, subject to applicable law and continued protection of the information.

5. International Data Processing

Our servers and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than the country where you use WallFlow. Where required, we use safeguards appropriate to the relevant data and applicable law.

6. How We Protect Data

Data transmitted between WallFlow and our services is protected using HTTPS/TLS. Verified wallpaper downloads and local app records are stored in app-private storage. We also apply technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No security measure can eliminate every risk.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Raw first-party pseudonymous usage events are retained for no longer than 180 days and are then deleted or irreversibly aggregated. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be retained for up to two years. Subscription entitlement records are kept for as long as needed to provide benefits and meet legal obligations. Standard service and security logs and support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for their stated purposes and applicable legal obligations.

Turning off Usage statistics stops future usage-event collection and clears events waiting on the device. Settings → Delete local data removes WallFlow's local records and resets the locally generated installation identifier, but it does not retroactively identify or delete pseudonymous events already received by our service. Local data otherwise remains until you delete it, clear the app's data or uninstall the app.

Google and Meta retain data they receive under their applicable service terms and retention controls. Deleting local app data does not delete records already received by those providers. Crashlytics may keep unsent crash information locally until a subsequent app start or report-handling action. Meta may retain a local installation marker and pending SDK data; we do not erase that marker to manufacture another installation. Contact us for help with data deletion requests.

8. Your Choices

  • turn off Usage statistics at any time in Settings to stop first-party statistics; this does not control Google or Meta reporting;
  • review or change advertising privacy choices through Settings → Ads privacy options when that option is required and available;
  • remove ads by subscribing to WallFlow Premium and manage the subscription in Google Play;
  • pause or revoke the optional Chat Background Accessibility service;
  • erase local WallFlow data through Settings → Delete local data;
  • clear the app's data or uninstall WallFlow; and
  • contact us with privacy questions or to exercise rights available under applicable law.

9. Children

WallFlow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Different age requirements may apply under local law.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when WallFlow's features or data practices change. We will publish the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
